Hey, I'm Jess
The "Boss" in Bossy Boots

Like you, I'm a go-getter. In the Summer of 2019, I made what I would call a "flash-in-the-pants" decision after being unable to find childcare that worked for me and my family.

​

With over 20 years of experience in administrative roles within industries such as Legal, Finance and the NHS, I took a leap of faith and set up Bossy Boots VA with the full belief that I would land on my feet.

​

As I am known for doing what it takes to get a task complete no matter what and penchant for knowing and speaking my mind, I have been “affectionately” (so I am told!) called a "Bossy Boots". Hence the branding into Bossy Boots VA. I am really proud of the fact that I am still supporting my initial clients, and they love my "tell-it-how-it is" attitude whilst providing them with a safety net for their business.

Outside of work, I'm a mum who juggles the kids' social commitments, keeping on top of housework and cooking at least 80% of our meals from scratch (but I will die on the hill of pizza night Fridays!)

Guilty Pleasure: Curling up in front of the telly in my PJs with a brew, and a big bag of peanut M&Ms watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.​​​​​
